Wild Heaven Beer’s Avondale location is the company’s original brewery, opened in 2014 between downtown Avondale Estates and Decatur, about six miles east of downtown Atlanta. The brewhouse itself has Georgia beer history: it was originally purchased by SweetWater’s founders in 1997. Wild Heaven’s brewing approach draws on European traditions while incorporating American creativity, with particular interest in culinary and botanically driven recipes. The taproom offers 20 taps alongside Georgia wine, cocktails, nonalcoholic choices, and packaged beer to go. Al’s Pine Street Market Kitchen operates from the patio, serving scratch-made food including small plates, sandwiches, burgers, and kid-friendly options. Visitors can choose between the indoor taproom and a large outdoor patio, and the brewery welcomes both children and dogs.
