Fox City Brewing Company

Fox City Brewing Company is a brewery and restaurant in historic downtown Forsyth, founded in 2020 by Bob Zellner, George Emami, Justin Cox, and John Ambrose Jr. The brewery grew from Zellner’s long-running homebrewing interest—he brewed his first batch in 1972—and a shared goal of creating a community gathering place in Forsyth. Its beer lineup covers approachable styles such as red ale, pale ale, blonde ale, lager, and IPA. Fox City also operates a full kitchen, with a menu that ranges from burgers and sandwiches to Southern-leaning dishes such as shrimp and grits, catfish, and gumbo, plus breakfast and brunch offerings. The combination of house-brewed beer, a substantial food program, and a downtown setting makes it suited to visitors looking for more than a taproom-only stop.
