Grumpy Old Men Brewing

Grumpy Old Men Brewing is an independent brewery and taproom in Blue Ridge, about a half-mile from the city’s downtown core. Founded in 2013 by two retired homebrewers, the brewery takes its name from a joking comment made during their early brewing experiments. Today, all of its beer is brewed and canned at its single Blue Ridge location, with a large tap list that spans house flagships and rotating styles. The taproom includes indoor seating and an outdoor patio, and both children and leashed dogs are welcome. Visitors can order flights or take beer to go in growlers, crowlers, and select six-packs. There is no full kitchen, but guests may bring outside food, and packaged snacks are available in the taproom.
