Sage Street Aleworks

Sage Street Aleworks is a brewery and taproom in downtown Toccoa, founded by Regina and Travis Kruger in the former Stewart’s Drugs space. The brewery preserves pieces of the building’s history, including the original drugstore sign and antique pharmacy cabinets repurposed as part of the tap wall. Its brewing approach combines traditional beer styles with room for experimentation, with house beers spanning lagers, English ales, IPAs, sours, and stronger dark styles. Sage Street also operates a kitchen, giving visitors more substantial food options than a typical snack-only taproom, including wood-fired pizzas, wings, paninis, and shareable plates. The result is a neighborhood-oriented brewery with a distinctive historic setting, on-site beer production, and a food program suited to visitors planning to stay for a meal.
