Skint Chestnut Brewing Company

Skint Chestnut Brewing Company is a craft brewery in historic downtown Powder Springs and was the first brewery established in West Cobb. The brewery grew out of founder Mark Henson’s years of homebrewing, influenced in part by his travels in Europe and an interest in producing a wider range of beer styles. Henson partnered with his brother-in-law, Doug Farrell, who brought an operations and management background to the business. The taproom is designed as a community-oriented gathering place and welcomes both families and dogs. While beer is the focus, visitors can pair their drinks with food from rotating food trucks or order from nearby restaurants, several of which offer delivery to the brewery. Its downtown setting also makes Skint Chestnut an easy stop while exploring Powder Springs.
